Driving Directions
Directions:From Apalachicola – Going East on Hwy 98 you will go through the main part of Carrabelle. Look for the Dollar General Store and turn left on 5th Street NE about 2 roads past the Dollar General across from the city park. The Sands of Carrabelle will be on your left about ¼ mile from 98. The address is 501-A NE Ave A, Carrabelle FL From Lanark Village/ Panacea / Sopchoppy Going West on Hwy 98 As you enter Carrabelle you will see a church and car lot on your left and a small strip center on your right. Turn right onto 5th Street NE across from the City park with lake & fountain. The Sands of Carrabelle will be on your left about ¼ mile from 98.

Check-In Instructions
Check-In instructions: Check-in time is 4:00pm – it is possible to make arrangements for early arrival for an additional fee. There will be a grey lock box on the entry door. Input the numbers 1953 and pull the latch down to remove the key. Input the same numbers to return the keypad to the lockbox. Make sure you lock the doors when you are not in the home and note that the french doors will not stay closed unless the top and bottom slider locks in the stationary side are in place and both locks secured. There is a light switch on the center piling if you arrive after dark and another near the bottom of the stairs. Check-Out Instructions: Check-out time is 10:00am. Please make sure that all doors are locked and lock the deadbolt when you leave. Return the key to the lockbox using the instructions above. Damages: Our rental policies require that your security deposit is held by credit card and we reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for any damages or missing items as necessary. We will contact you regarding these damages and payment. Should an accident happen, please call us immediately to let us know about it. Just a Few Reminders: While we try to make things convenient for our guests, please remember we are not a hotel. You are staying in someone's home and we expect you to take care of it as if it were your own. We provide basic cleaning supplies, garbage bags, a roll of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper in each bath. You will need to provide any other cleaning supplies or paper products you may need for your stay. Soap, shampoo, personal items, coffee, food, etc are not provided. House Rules
We are glad that you have chosen to stay with us while relaxing on the Forgotten Coast. You may have some questions while staying at the Sands of Carrabelle and the information below should be helpful. Check-In is 4pm and Check-out is 10am, unless prior arrangements have been made. A late check- out or early check-in fee will apply. When you leave, please take your trash to the can provided and return your key to the lock box using the same code you were provided at check-in. All Units are NON-SMOKING! PLEASE GO OUTSIDE TO SMOKE!!! You may smoke on the porch or balcony but please close the doors. Remember smoke can linger and since these are NON-SMOKING units, we can tell if someone has smoked in them and it is considered damage! There are public boat ramps at C-Quarters Marina and at the end of Pirates Landing Road on Timber Island where there is ample parking on either side of the ramp for your trailer. Lanark Village Mart also provides a ramp with a $10 launch fee and plenty of parking. Please: • Be courteous to your neighbors and keep the level of noise down after 9pm. • Lock the unit behind you when you leave; during your stay and at check-out. • Dispose of all fish waste properly and do not place in the trash can. Trash pickup is on Monday. If you are staying for the week, please take the trash can out to the road Sunday night. If you are a weekend guest, please take your trash out to the street when you leave and return your key to the lock box. • Turn off lights and fans when you leave - helping to keep the utility bills down for our owners allows us to keep our rates lower. • DO NOT turn your AC unit BELOW 73 degrees. This can cause the unit to freeze up or create large amounts of condensation which damage the home and the AC unit itself. If we find the thermostat set below 73 and damage occurs, you will be responsible for any and all repairs. Please remember you are not staying in a hotel - the air conditioning unit is not built to “suddenly” cool the whole home; it must be done gradually as in your own home. Likewise with the heat! Pool: The pool area is kept locked for the enjoyment of our owners and guests. The pool gate code is 8753, the main gate on 4th Street. Please obey all pool rules: • Pool Hours – Daylight to Dark (Approx 7am – 9pm) Yellow Pool Pass must be visable while you are at the pool • No Loud or Offensive Music • No Offensive Language • No Glass Containers • No Running • No Diving • No Pets • No more than 6 people per pass, per unit • Clean up behind yourself • Children 15 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult • Lock the gate while you are in the pool area and when you leave Please remember that we have people who live at the Sands of Carrabelle and these rules are enforced. If disruptions occur, the authorities WILL BE CALLED!
