Carrabelle is a small fishing village, you can charter a boat for 1/2 day or 1 full day of bay or deep sea fishing. Surf fishing from this property is popular with the kids and adults, also netting blue crabs. The freshest seafood you will ever eat is here. Oyster house and seafood market located in town. Public beach with beautiful white sand, BBQ grills, and bathrooms. Apalachicola has many antique shops and lots of historic homes and is the home of the first Ice Machine built. Also Tates Hell is across the street from home with nature trails. You can take the ferry to Dog Island for shelling and to watch the dolphins

Address: 2756 Hwy 98w Carrabelle Fl 32322. Directions: Traveling west on Hwy 98 through Carrabelle, cross the Carrabelle River and travel approximately 6 miles. Look for mail box number 2756, it will be a little drive way and the house is on the left. The house is elevated on pilings and looks like a seaside tree house.

Check-In Instructions
Check-In: Check-In is at 6pm and Check-out is at 10am, unless prior arrangements have been made. When you arrive at the home there will be a lockbox at the entry door. Open the shutter door to reveal the dials and the release button and rotate the dials to 6990. Press down on the release button to open the key door to remove the key. Damages: Our rental policies require that your security deposit is held by credit card and we reserve the right to charge the credit card on file for any damages or missing items as necessary. We will contact you regarding these damages and payment. Should an accident happen, please call us immediately to let us know about it. Just so You Know: Phone - You will be able to make local only. The phone number is 850-697-3312. Internet – High speed internet access is available via a cable modem or WiFi. The WiFi network is secure and the network access key is gatordog. Things to Do – There is a book on things to do in the area and instructions for using the TV digital cable system in the coffee table drawer. Beach Chairs and Towels – You are welcome to take the plastic tables and chairs from the deck down to the beach (please return them to the deck when you leave). If you have beach chairs you may want to bring them along too. There are usually beach chairs around the house (usually in the pump house or beach shower) but they seem to disappear over the summer. The house is equipped with bath and hand towels but you will need to bring your own beach towels. There is a gas grill for your use. This is a pet friendly house however the $75.00 non refundable pet fee DOES NOT cover any damages cause by the pet and YOUR credit card will be charge. Just a Few Reminders: This home is NON-SMOKING! PLEASE GO OUTSIDE TO SMOKE!!! You may smoke on the porch but please close the doors. While we try to make things convenient for our guests, please remember we are not a hotel. You are staying in someone's home and we expect you to take care of it as if it were your own. We provide basic cleaning supplies, garbage bags, a roll of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper in each bath. You will need to provide any other cleaning supplies or paper products you may need for your stay. Soap, shampoo, personal items, coffee, food, etc. are not provided. Please: Be courteous to your neighbors and keep the level of noise down after 9pm. Lock the unit behind you when you leave; during your stay and at check-out. Dispose of all fish waste properly and do not place in the trash can. There is a very nice fish cleaning station at the city boat ramp on Marine Street. Trash pick-up is on Tuesday. If you are staying for the week, please take the trash can out to the road Monday night. If you are a weekend guest, please take your trash out to the street when you leave. Do not turn your AC below 73 degrees. This can cause the unit to freeze up or create large amounts of condensation which damage the home and the AC unit itself. If we find the thermostat set below 73 and damage occurs, you will be responsible for any and all repairs. Please remember that you are not staying in a hotel – the air conditioning unit is not built to “suddenly” cool the whole home; it must be done gradually as in your own home. Likewise with the heat! Turn off lights and fans when away from the home and when you leave - helping to keep the utility bills down for our owners allows us to keep our rates lower. Do not run the air-conditioning or heat with the doors open. Check-Out: When you leave, please take your trash to the can provided and take it to the street. Lock all the doors and return your key to the lock box using the instructions above – scramble the numbers and make sure the key is secure.
